Rings!  Necklaces! Bracelets! Stunning Pueblo artwork!

Pueblo jewely traditions are distinctive and very different from Navajo traditions.  As you might guess, there are various Pueblo jewelry styles and construction techniques.  Certain distinctive styles are associated with particular Pueblos. Santo Domingo Pueblo, for example, is famous for its fine heishi work (strung finely-cut shell).  The Hopi are noted for their unique silver overlay (what's that?). The Zuni are famous for their beautiful stone inlay technique that has roots that go back to their Anasazi origins.  There is much more, but that's a start!  You find out the rest....then tell us about it!

As you get into this, make sure you avoid generalizations. You'll want to pay attention to particular Pueblo traditions. Compare these & tell us about the differences between various styles. And you'll want to know about how Pueblo work is distinctive and different from Navajo jewelry....
