Navajo Code Talkers

Up

Nicolas Cage made a movie about them.  The U.S. government finally recognized their contribution. Many say they helped save thousands of lives during World War II, and may have even been responsible for the final Pacific victory. Navajos in the Pacific? What's this all about?

Well, it's about codes the Japanese couldn't break.  It's about the Navajo language.  It's a great story -- much better, in fact than Windtalkers, which as a movie was fairly lame.  It's a great, positive story about patriotism, sacrifice and Dineh real live heroes.  In fact, some are these guys are still alive.  Tell us about this important Navajo contribution to America.
