Surprise. There was another Lost Colony. It wasn't settled by the English. It was a Spanish frontier settlement. And guess what: it was in what we now call North Carolina. How come be haven't heard about this Lost Colony? Who originally settled it and why? What did the Indians think about it? What was Joara? Fort San Juan? And who was Juan Pardo?Whatever happened to them? Where exactly is the site of the lost places?  When did we rediscover this Lost Colony, and how did that happen? What is its significance?
