Meredith College has a long history of community involvement. In recent years, the College community members have volunteered to help people in Sri Lanka after the 2004 tsunami and in the Gulf Coast region of the U.S. after Hurricane Katrina.

Now, Meredith students, faculty, staff and alumnae are focusing their attention on those much closer to campus, through an effort to build a Meredith-sponsored Habitat for Humanity home.
