Meredith MBA Student First in TBJ Stock Derby
Meredith MBA student Kathy Hughes is in first place in the fourth month of The Triangle Business Journal’s Stock Derby.
Hughes, vice president of operations at Atlantic Creative Communications, is competing against MBA students from UNC-Chapel Hill, NC State, Duke and North Carolina Central University.
Each participant is asked to mock invest in five stocks at $10,000 each for a total starting portfolio of $50,000. As of June 29, Hughes’ stock portfolio was worth $61,288, up 22.58 percent.
