Their recent hit song may be about going to Boston, but on Friday, September 14, Augustana will be at Raleigh’s Meredith College. The band will be featured in concert on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at 8 p.m. in Meredith’s outdoor McIver Amphitheater.

Gates open at 7 p.m. for the show, which will begin at 8 p.m. Rain location is Dorton Arena.

Augustana hit the airwaves in 2006 with their hit song “Boston.”  As the song climbed the charts, the video for “Boston” became a regular on VH-1’s top 20 countdown. The band’s current CD is “All the Stars and Boulevards.” For more information, visit www.myspace.com/augustana.

The show, which is the third “Sizzlin’ September” concert to be held at Meredith, is sponsored by Meredith’s Campus Activities Board.

On the day of the show, all traffic should enter the Meredith campus from Hillsborough Street. Alcohol, coolers and outside food and drinks are prohibited at the show. Food and drinks will be available for sale at the concert.
