Meredith College’s orientation for new students will be held Saturday, Aug. 18 through Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Orientation begins with freshmen Move-in Day on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 8 a.m. – noon.

Other Move-in Day events include:

• Opening Session from 2 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. (Groups 1-17) and from 3 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. (18-46) in Jones Auditorium.
• Parent and Family Sessions from 4 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. (Various campus locations)
• Barbecue Picnic from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. in Belk Courtyard.

Orientation is a five day program designed to introduce students to college life, leading up to the beginning of Fall 2007 classes on Wednesday, Aug. 22.
