An article appeared in the April 5 edition of Raleigh’s News and Observer highlighting the efforts of Julia Leggett, ’06, to lobby for issues affecting the disabled community. Leggett is employed by Alliance of Disability Advocates. At Meredith, she received a B.A. in political science and plans to earn a master’s degree in deaf studies from Gallaudet University.
