Meredith College’s Dietetic Intern (DI) program was featured on NBC-17 on Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Part of the station’s “Your Life” feature, the story focused on a recent seminar on low-cost nutrition for senior citizens, which was presented by students in the DI program.

The presentation topics included how to eat nutritiously on a low budget, food safety, cooking for one and a recipe demonstration.

Meredith’s ADA-accredited Dietetic Internship program enables post-baccalaureate women and men to build on an undergraduate education by providing the knowledge and supervised practice experience needed for dietary professions.
