The mathematics major is designed to encourage students to reason mathematically and work collaboratively to solve problems, as well as understand a branch of mathematics in depth.

Prerequisites
Include ONE of the following options:
    MAT 144 - 3 hours
    MAT 141 and MAT 143 - 5 hours

At least TWO courses chosen from:
    MAT 321 Modern Abstract Algebra
    MAT 415 Topics in Analysis
