Fundraiser
Cash and check donations for the Meredith College Tornado Relief Fund are being accepted in the Office of the Vice President for College Programs (1st Floor, Johnson Hall) and in the Office of Student Leadership and Service (2nd Floor, Cate Center). Make checks payable to Meredith College.

Clothing, Food and Toiletries Collection Drive
A collection drive will be held Monday, April 25 through Friday, April 29, 2011. Students, faculty and staff can donate clothing, non-perishable food, and toiletries such as toothpaste, shampoo, soap and feminine products.

Items collected will support Meredith College community members and will also be donated to tornado relief efforts by The Salvation Army of Wake County and The Interfaith Food Shuttle.

Collection bins will be located in Johnson Hall and the Cate Center.

Student Leadership & Service Yard Sale
Proceeds from the Office of Student Leadership and Service‘s 6th Annual Yard Sale will be donated to the American Red Cross and the Meredith College Tornado Relief Fund.

The yard sale will be held on Reading Day, Friday, April 29, 2011, at 2 p.m. in 1st Cate. Numerous items such as T-shirts, koozies, cups, and glasses left over from the 2009-10 academic year will be sold at reduced prices. Payments and donations can be made in cash or by check made payable to Meredith College.

Meredith students, faculty and staff who have immediate needs as a result of the tornadoes are asked to notify Dean of Students Ann Gleason at 760-8521 or gleasona@meredith.edu.
