Meredith to Host Statewide Research Conference
Meredith College will host the annual State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium (SNCURCS) on November 20, 2010.
Meredith is the first independent school to host the statewide undergraduate research conference. Approximately 400 presenters are expected with a total estimated attendance of 800.
The SNCURCS, which is in its sixth year, is a showcase of multidisciplinary undergraduate research scholarship from all of North Carolina’s 53 state and private colleges and universities and 58 community colleges. The event includes poster, oral, artistic, and performance presentations.
How To Participate: Students from North Carolina colleges, universities, community colleges, and high schools are invited to submit proposals for oral, poster, and performance presentations. Abstracts for presentations are due on October 15, 2010.
Faculty mentors, research mentors, graduate school officers, high school advisors, sponsors, and others interested in research and creative works by students in N.C. are invited to attend.
