Meredith Has Think Green Focus in September Meredith College will have a special “Think Green” focus on sustainability in September 2010. A variety of programs are being organized by departments across campus. Educational Activities
•The T-shirt Story and Green Fundraising 101, sponsored by Student Leadership and Service, September 7-10, in the Cate Center. •“DIRECTions: Native Clay,” an exhibition of ceramics by 16 artists. Opens September 12, at the Frankie G. Weems Art Gallery, Gaddy-Hamrick Art Center. A reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. •Wellness Wednesday at Belk Dining Hall, September 15, 2010 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Highlights include guest chef from local Market Restaurant, Zumba! classes, farm visit from BeauSol Gardens, and a Fear Factor table. Also sign up for WOW!, Meredith's faculty/staff wellness program, and fall produce shares. Green Jobs
