Meredith Athletics Season Kick-Off September 1 Meredith College’s Avenging Angels will kick-off the 2010 season on September 1, 2010. The season opening events will be held at the Meredith Athletic Field and Track Complex. The season’s first cross country meet will be held at 5 p.m. and soccer game at 7 p.m. The evening’s events will be preceded by the Second Annual Meredith Student, Faculty and Staff Fun Run at 4 p.m. This will begin with teams from all over campus in relay races followed by a campus run/walk around the track. Please contact Assistant Athletics Director Greg Jarvis to sign up a student or staff team. The first 50 students to attend all three events will get an Avenging Angels T-shirt. See the tent on site for details. The Student Athlete Advisory Committee will be collecting canned foods for the USA South Cans for the Conference Competition.
