Business Seniors Earn Strong Scores on ETS Test
Meredith College seniors majoring in accounting and business administration scored in the 70th percentile on the ETS Field Test of Business in Spring 2010. Students posted exceptionally strong scores in accounting, management, marketing, legal/social environment and international issues.
Eleven of the 34 students who took the test were recognized for individual scores at or above the 75th percentile. Overall these scores provide strong evidence of the educational quality in the School of Business.
The ETS Field Test is a nationally-normed test of business knowledge taken by thousands of students at hundreds of business schools across the globe. It is the most popular method of assessing student learning in business programs because it provides external validation for the test performance.
Performance among business undergraduates has been steadily increasing since the introduction of a new curriculum in 2006.
