The event is a College Awareness Campaign Kick-Off for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Kick-Off event, “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” and “Diva Dash” will include male and female participants. The Diva Dash will feature a 50-yard sprint in high heels.

The top three winners will receive trophies and other prizes. A one-mile walk to symbolize walking in the shoes of a rape/sexual assault survivor will follow. The program will include speakers.

The event will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on the Meredith College campus, behind the Gaddy-Hamrick Art Center.
