Siren Drill planned for week of March 29 The Meredith College Incident Management Team has scheduled a siren drill during the week of March 29. The campus siren allows the College to issue warnings for incidents involving safety and security issues. When you hear the siren wail, that means you should take cover in a building (if you are already in a building when you hear the siren, please stay where you are). Once the “all clear” siren sounds, that means the emergency situation (in this case, the drill) is over. If you are meeting with any visitors to campus during the time the siren is activated, please direct them to enter a campus building to wait until you hear the “all clear” siren. To familiarize yourself with the siren wail and the all clear siren, visit www.meredith.edu/emergency-planning/emergency-notification-system.htm to hear sample audio of the siren warning system.
