Faculty Member Comments on Partisan Politics Professor of Politics Clyde Frazier was featured as an expert source in an Associated Press article on the extreme nature of partisan politics in America today. The article, “Analysis: Vitriol, invective at the speed of light” looks at the extraordinarily malicious tone characterizing politics today, both in the media that provides political coverage and within the political arena itself. According to Frazier, the current style of media coverage is feeding the nasty tone that dominates the political scene. “Vitriol seems to sell.
