Meredith College Closed on July 4 All Meredith College offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2009, in celebration of Independence Day. Because of several major construction projects, it will be also necessary for the campus to be closed to the general public on Saturday, July 4. This closure includes the evening hours during the annual fireworks celebration at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. In keeping with the City of Raleigh’s guidelines, the greenway will remain open from dawn until dusk on July 4. Like other major holidays, Meredith employees and students with a valid Meredith I.D. or parking decal will have access to campus through the Hillsborough Street entrance.
