Celebration and Send Off for Meredith Tennis May 7 A victory celebration and send off will be held to honor the tennis team in winning the first USA South Athletic Conference Tennis Tournament Championship in school history. The send off event will be held Thursday, May 7 at 10 a.m. at the front of Johnson Hall. Members of the tennis team will be recognized for their excellence in winning the USA South tournament as they leave for Lexington, Va., for the NCAA tournament at the conclusion of the event. The team will play at Washington & Lee University and face Gwynedd-Mercy College on Friday at 2 p.m. This is the third appearance for the Avenging Angels in the NCAA tournament and second in three years under the guidance of Head Coach Kelly Weaver.
