Tunnel of Oppression April 7 The Tunnel of Oppression is coming to Meredith College on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, from 6 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. in Brewer Residence Hall. The Office of Commuter Life & Diversity Programs is looking for Meredith community members who are interested in sharing in the experience. What is the Tunnel of Oppression? This program is designed to provide participants with various sensory experiences witnessing forms of oppression and discrimination within our society. The goal of the experience is to create an educational and thought provoking opportunity for the campus community to explore issues of diversity. This event counts as an academic/cultural event in general education. Participation is limited to the first 50 faculty, staff and students. Participants are asked to remain for the duration of the program. This program is co-sponsored by Brewer Hall, and the Residence Life Diversity Committee.
