College Dems Welcome Ellen Pompeo for Obama Actress Ellen Pompeo, who plays the title character of Meredith Grey on "Grey's Anatomy", will be on the Meredith campus this Saturday, Sept. 27, to support the presidential candidacy of Barack Obama.
