Meredith students, faculty and staff should bring their health insurance card and photo ID if they have any of the following insurance plans:

• Blue Cross Blue Shield Student health insurance Meredith offers
• Blue Cross Blue Shield plans from all states in the USA including our employee plan
• Medicare Part B
• Medicare Advantage Plans (must say PFFS “Private Fee for Service” on the card)
• Aetna
• SummaCare
• Humana Gold Choice (PFFS) and Humana Medicare (PFFS Only)
• Todays Options
• National Union Fire Insurance (Pearce and Pearce – College health plans)
• Universal Health Care

Meredith students, 17 years or age or younger, must have a parent or guardian present. Family members with the above mentioned health insurance plans may also receive flu vaccine at Meredith. Children ages 4 - 17 are eligible but must have a parent or guardian present to receive the vaccine.

The flu vaccine costs $30 unless you have preventive benefits with an insurance company listed above. The Meredith student health insurance plan and the faculty/staff plan with BCBS covers the flu vaccine at no out of pocket cost. Click here for more information, including tips on avoiding the flu.
