Sponsored by the Meredith Recreation Association, Cornhuskin' is comprised of activities that will take place throughout the week leading up to the main event on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 6 p.m. in the McIver Amphitheater.

The Cornhuskin’ schedule of events for 2012 will include:

Saturday, October 27: Cornhuskin' Service Project from 9 a.m.- noon

Monday, October 29 Scavenger Hunt and Big Sis/Lil' Sis Bonfire at 10 p.m.

Wednesday, October 31: Can Art at 4 p.m. (Courtyard)

Thursday, November 1: President's Raid at 10 p.m.

Friday, November 2
Parade 3:30 p.m. (Main Campus Drive)
Picnic 4:15 p.m. (Courtyard)
2012 Cornhuskin' Main Event 6 p.m. (McIver Amphitheatre)

About Cornhuskin'
A competition between classes, Cornhuskin' is a Meredith College tradition that began in 1945.

The goals of the event are to:

• Provide a safe and entertaining experience for Meredith students
• Offer opportunities for guests to view the Cornhuskin' activities, with priority viewing given to student participants, current faculty & staff, and some recent alumnae
• Ensure the safety of all participants and guests
• Successfully continue the 68-year legacy of Cornhuskin' events.
