Wifi Wireless Access

 

The entire Meredith campus has a freely available wifi network for wireless computer access. The network name is meredith-public and no password is required.

 

Alumnae

Borrowing library materials:

Alumnae can get a free library card and borrow up to five books and other library items at a time. Come to the circulation desk for your card.

Online databases and ebooks:

Open access from on campus. Off-campus access not available.  

Interlibrary Loan:

Not available for alumnae.

Visitors

Use of the library:

Visitors are welcome to use library materials, seating, and some computers (computers on the main and top floors).

Borrowing library materials:

Visitors can check out up to ten items at a time only if they purchase a Friends of the Library membership. The cost is $25 for a one year membership.

Online databases and ebooks:

Open access from on campus.  Off-campus access not available for visitors or Friends.

Interlibrary Loan:

Not available for visitors or Friends.

Friends Of the Library

Friends can get a free library card and borrow up to ten books and other library items at a time. Come to the circulation desk for your card.

Patrons with Disabilities

Building access:

An elevator is available on the main floor.

Reading Technology:

WYNN software is installed on all Meredith desktop and laptop computers. WYNN reads aloud any text on a computer screen. In addition, 53,000 ebooks accessible through the library catalog have a read aloud feature. Look in the catalog for ebooks offered by Ebrary.
