Welcome to the Music Library!

The Music Library is located on the first floor of Wainwright Music Building. This library houses a collection of recordings and scores and provides a variety of listening facilities. Some features of the Music Library include:
  • Music Education Curriculum Center, with current adoption textbooks, CDs, software
  • Piano Pedagogy Resources, with current and historical method series
  • The John Craig Stevens Guitar Collection of guitar scores
  • Hymnal Collection, from Sacred Harp to Taize

The Music Library is excited to offer the Meredith Community access to Classical Music Library, a digital music streaming service, with over 35,000 tracks for listening, browsing, and searching.

Also the Music Library has just added a series of piano pieces by faculty member Tom Lohr. The pieces, written in recognition of the 50th Anniversary of the Raleigh Piano Teachers Association, encompass a variety of skill levels. The Music Library is proud to offer such outstanding examples of faculty talent.
