VIDEO PRODUCTION
MCTV offers training for creating recruitment
videos, marketing videos and educational videos. MCTV will
train faculty, staff and students how to use editing equipment
and cameras. Projects must be Meredith related. Some of the
past projects have been:
Slideshows – Slideshows are a series
of pictures accompanied by music and titles. Fire and
Water, Mother/Daughter Tea and Father/Daughter
Dance are among the several events that inspire student-created
slideshows each year.
Orientation videos – If you are a freshman,
you will go through many orientations, one of which will be
to watch the Health and Fitness Center Orientation video.
This was video taped and edited by students, faculty and staff.
This kind of video requires a considerable amount of preperation
and production time.
Thesis Videos – If you are presenting
a thesis, you can be trained to make a video that supports
your thesis presentation. This medium will be kept with your
thesis in the Carlyle Campbell Library. This does not include
a video recording of you presenting your thesis.
Video projects take a lot of time and preparation. Before you
contact the Cable Administrator, please become familiar with
this check off sheet.
