Welcome to the Alumni Page for the Paralegal Program at Meredith College. Two of the best features of the Paralegal Program at Meredith College are its students and its alumni. When students enter the program, they enter as college graduates with a commitment to success in the classroom and beyond. Students form study groups that often extend into friendships that continue long after they complete the program. These friendships allow our graduates to rely on each other for information and moral support in their jobs as well as serving as leads for each other for future employment.

If you are an alumni of the program, please take a few minutes to answer a short questionnaire. Please also use the questionnaire to let us know about any changes in your record (ie. address, workplace, e-mail, etc.). The information we receive from the questionnaire will remain confidential.

The Paralegal Program is now offering continuing education courses. Alumni of the program may take courses for a discounted rate. For a current list of courses go to: www.meredith.edu/legal/courses.htm.

We regularly offer courses on a rotating basis that, in the past year, have included:

• Real Estate Closings 101
• Collections, Contract Drafting
• Family Law
• Uniform Commercial Code
• Interview & Investigation
• Appellate Process.

Customized legal training—either at your location or at Meredith College—may also be arranged. Once you have determined your objective, we would be delighted to work with you to create and deliver training specific to the needs of your law firm, business, government entity or non-profit organization. Meredith has provided customized training programs at Meredith and on-site for Progress Energy, SpectraSite Communications Inc. and Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC.
