Hi, my name is Jennifer McCoy and I'm a senior here at Meredith College and will be graduating in May.
I'm 21 years old and am majoring in psychology and getting a minor in sociology.
I have worked part-time at a law firm for the past three years and I'm so excited because this will be the first semester that I won't have to work. This will allow me to focus on my last two semesters in college and make preparations for receiving my diploma.
I recently went to a conference with my church and I was introduced to Harold Eberle who is the originator of WorldCast Ministries. His organization works to build Bible colleges and spread the word of God throughout Africa. His testimony has had the greatest influence on my desire to travel to Africa. His passionate accounts were so touching and I eventually want to have my own experiences to share with others.
My only concern about traveling to Africa is that I will not want to leave once I'm there. This would prove difficult due to the close relationship I have with my family, but I am confident that God will work things out if Africa is where I'm suppose to be.
