Spring - 2006: Happy New Year to
you! If your New Year's resolutions include taking better care of
yourself in 2006, please start by joining your colleagues in a Meredith
sponsored (free) exercise class. The following classes are offered:
1) RESISTA-BALL...Meets T&TH in Kresge Aud. from 12:00-1:00pm. Begins
tomorrow 1-12-2006.
2) AEROBICS...Meets M&W in the Movement Lab (Weatherspoon) from
5:00-6:00. Begins 1-18-06.
3) YOGA...Meets Tuesday in Jones Chapel Common Room from 5:30-6:30pm.
Begins 1-17-06.

*For those folks that are new on campus this is a great way to meet your
colleagues.
Fall - 2005: This is an
invitation for everyone to participate in the exercise classes offered
ON CAMPUS just for you. They are FREE, fun, and really great for your
health...you know lowers your cholesterol, keeps your weight down,
increases your stamina...I could go on and on. Anyway, this is the
schedule for this semester.
1) AEROBICS.....M &W 5:10--6:00 in the Movement Lab(Weatherspoon).
Taught by our own alum, Lilly Caltis, owner and manager of Ladies
Fitness & Wellness Gym. Come and join us next Monday (8-22-05) for this
class or join whenever you can.
2) RESISTA-BALLS... T & TH 12:00-1:00 Kresge Aud. Lilly also teaches
this class and you will need to bring your own ball. Join us anytime.
3) YOGA... Tuesday....5:15--6:15 in the Common Room ( Jones Chapel).
Claire McCullough, a certified yoga instructor and Assist. Vice Pres.
for Graduate Studies at Meredith will teach this class. The 1st class of
Yoga will be next Tuesday(8-23-05). You will need to wear comfortable
clothes and bring a yoga mat.
*I f you are new on campus this is a great way to get to know the
wonderful staff and faculty at Meredith.
