What is the Honors Program at Meredith College?
The Honors Program at Meredith offers you a learning community from the moment you arrive — students who share your goals and interests, faculty who really care.
Meredith Honors students not only take special Honors courses, but create collaborative research or artistic projects with faculty sponsors, often beginning freshman year. Close student-faculty partnerships are characteristic of Honors classes, laying the foundation for relationships that last a lifetime. Engagement in the community, participation in the rich cultural life of the Research Triangle, and unique travel-and-learn weekends, are hallmarks of the Meredith Honors experience.
The Honors Program offers to qualified students many unique enrichment opportunities. Honors students travel abroad, attend cultural events, hear dynamic speakers and attend special events. Click here for an overview/slide show of the Meredith College Honors Program.
