Chris Eschbach, Ph.D., HFS
Director of the Human Performance Laboratory
Dr. Eschbach, Associate Professor of Exercise and Sport Science at Meredith College, has extensive experience with both the scientific and competitive side of sport. Not only does Dr. Eschbach have the knowledge that comes with a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology but also has an athletic background as a division I swimmer and professional triathlete. Winning over 50 triathlons since 1996 allows for a unique combination of knowledge and experience. This combination brings together the science of exercise with the art of training.
Very few laboratories have an open door policy to support athletes in their quest for improvement. At Meredith College Dr. Eschbach has designed a testing facility that provides athletes with the tools to optimize their performance.
