The Human Performance Laboratory (HPL) at Meredith College is dedicated to providing athletes and fitness enthusiasts with unbiased scientific testing by certified and knowledgeable staff.

The HPL has an open door policy and time set aside to support athletes and fitness enthusiasts in their quest for improvement.  At Meredith College, a testing facility has been designed that provides athletes and fitness enthusiasts with the tools to optimize their performance and learn about their bodies. 

The laboratory provides athletes of all abilities and persons looking to begin a lifetime of exercise the ability to receive up-to-date evaluations.  These evaluations consist of examination of fitness and training status and guidance on how to improve and implement fitness and sport specific training into their lives.  

Additionally, the HPL provides students majoring in Exercise Science within the Department of Health, Exercise and Sports Science with the opportunity of mentoring by laboratory staff in an effort to strengthen the knowledge and skills obtained during their educational process.
