Greetings from the Director

The growing awareness of the link between diet and human health has created an increased need for skilled dietary professionals in a variety of settings.

Meredith College's ACEND-accredited dietetic internship program provides college graduates with the knowledge and supervised practice needed to enter this fast-growing profession. The internship prepares men and women for the R.D. exam and gives them a 6-credit start on a M.S. in nutrition from Meredith. At the completion of the program, interns who have earned a verification statement will be eligible to take the R.D. Exam. After successfully passing the R.D. Exam, graduates will be eligible to apply for NC licensure.

Meredith's location couldn't be better for internship participants who can work at some of the world's top corporations and medical centers, as well as in local human services agencies and school systems.

If you have a bachelor's degree in nutrition from an ACEND-accredited program, and want to get on the fast track to a challenging and fulfilling career, consider Meredith's dietetic internship program.
