Program Overview
At Meredith College, you may earn a Master of Education with specialties in academically and intellectually gifted (AIG), elementary education, English as a second language (ESL), reading and special education (general curriculum.)
Designed for the K-12 teacher who has a bachelor's degree and has or is eligible for an initial teaching license, the program gives men and women the advanced tools needed to serve children today.
Financial assistance available to Master of Education students includes the Federal TEACH Grant (ESL, reading and special education/general curriculum), financial aid and need-based scholarships.
In addition, current teachers who are interested in renewing a teaching license may take master's level courses as a non-degree student.
