The Parents' Fund
You, too, can Be One in a Million. Your gift to The Parents’ Fund supports the very programs that allow our students to fulfill their potential—outstanding programs like Undergraduate Research, Honors and Study Abroad that truly set Meredith, and our students, apart.
This year, gifts to The Parents’ Fund will support the renovation of the second floor of the Cate Center. The Cate Center is an important building for many current and potential students. The second floor of Cate is a place where students congregate to socialize, study together, get together as a class and more. This area needs to be renovated so that it will be more student friendly and more attractive to potential students. The space has not been renovated since 1997 and its improvement will benefit the entire Meredith community.
The total cost to repaint, refurbish, replace the carpeting, add lighting, and other items will be $68,000. The College will give $38,000 towards the renovations with a plan to raise an additional $30,000 from gifts to The Parents’ Fund. This project is student focused and student driven. Interior design students will work in conjunction with administrative staff to provide an ideal space for the students.
Today, you can choose to Be One in a Million and give to the students of Meredith. Show them that you believe in their ability to shape the future by giving them the support they deserve.
