Scholarships

As recognition for outstanding ability and talent, Meredith College sponsors highly competitive scholarship programs. Although your admission application is automatically used for Meredith College academic award consideration, separate applications are required for Meredith Legacy, Presidential, Talent, and Thomas Meredith Baptist Heritage. Please contact the Office of Admissions with questions about merit scholarships or to request a scholarship application. The deadline for these applications is January 15.

The Meredith College Admissions Office selects scholarship finalists after reviewing each applicant's high school record, SAT results, recommendations, level of involvement in out-of-class activities and other individual factors. Winners in each category are chosen for their excellent performance and potential for success. To be considered for these scholarships, applicants must also submit their completed application for admission by January 15.

Competitive scholarship awards are renewable each year if recipients maintain the required academic average. Scholarship winners may also qualify for need-based financial assistance awards.
