Deadlines
In order to apply for need-based financial assistance, all students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the deadline shown below.
Future Students
- Spring 2013- Students entering in the Spring of 2013 may complete the 2012-13 FAFSA on a rolling basis before November 1, 2012.
- Fall 2013- The priority deadline for filing the FAFSA form for students planning to begin in the fall of 2013 is February 15, 2013.

Current Students
Priority Deadline: March 15, 2013
Current students must file the FAFSA by this deadline in order to receive the maximum need-based financial assistance available. Current students who do not meet the deadline will receive reduced grant assistance based on the date that the FAFSA was completed. Awards for returning students will completed in June, after spring grades have been recorded. To learn more about how to apply for financial assistance, please visit our current students page.
Verification
After completing the FAFSA, students may be selected for a process called verification. If selected, the Office of Financial Assistance will notify the student indicating what forms and documentation must be submitted. The student must submit requested documents within 14 days of the date of the notification. You can download the Verification Worksheet here.
