The College Writing Committe is appointed each academic year.  The charge of the CWC is twofold: 

1)  Review courses submitted to the General Education Committee for WI designation; offer suggestions for revision to the instructors of those courses; vote for approval of the WI designation.

2)  Offer information and support to faculty across discipllines as those faculty incoporate writing into their courses.

The CWC meets twice per month, typically the second and fourth Fridays.
