Meredith Ends Season at CNU After Winning First Round Game
Volleyball - Nov. 3
Newport News, Va. – The Meredith volleyball team traveled to Newport News to take on Shenandoah in the play-in game of the USA South volleyball tournament. Meredith defeated Shenandoah 3-0 in the first match to move to the quarterfinals against number one seed Christopher Newport. The Avenging Angels then fell to the Captains 3-1 in the quarterfinals. Meredith was able to take a set off of the Captains, the first time that any conference opponent has all season.

The Avenging Angels were led by Morgan White with 14 kills against and five against Shenandoah. Cori Spade had 12 kills against the Hornets and 11 against the Captains.

Meredith finishes the season with a 14-18 overall record and a 7-11 record in regular season conference play.   More Details
