Uncovering Southwest Raleigh aims to understand current and future forces affecting change and to develop strategies to enable the residents of Southwest Raleigh and the City to enhance and promote a healthy, creative and economically sustainable future for the district. The Triangle region is growing and changing. Many projections indicate that the Triangle is, and will be one of the country’s fastest growing regions. SW Raleigh is poised to respond and become a leader in this change.

To accomplish the goals set above, “Uncovering Southwest Raleigh” is developing an understanding of how the district has evolved, what the physical, economic and cultural resources are, and how residents, business owners, realtors, developers, investors, and other individuals living and working in the Triangle area perceive the district and the future of its various communities. With this understanding the project will develop strategies and resources to assist the community in acknowledging Southwest Raleigh as a great place to live, learn, work, play, raise a family, and create a future.
