The Meredith Athletics department will host a Pep Rally for our new women’s lacrosse team in Belk Quad at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013. Meet the team and coaches, learn a lacrosse move and enjoy a delicious cupcake as we celebrate the opening of the first-ever Avenging Angels varsity lacrosse season.

The Meredith lacrosse home opener is slated for Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m. The Office of Alumnae Relations will join athletics staff to create a fun-filled event. Head Coach Lauren Scott and her team will host a youth clinic on the field at 11:30 a.m. for our local alumnae families. Meredith community members and their children are welcome to join the fun and learn about this new Avenging Angels sport. Stick around for food and fun and cheer on the team.
