This past weekend at the annual conference of the North Carolina Association of Residence Halls (NCARH) was held at UNC-Charlotte. Meredith College's own Residence Hall Association (RHA) took home three great awards as a delegation at NCARH:
"Green Knight" (most sustainable),
"Best Roll Call" (best skit & dance),and
"Most Spirit!"
Until this past weekend the "Most Spirited" delegation has been awarded every year for the past 6 years to East Carolina University.
In addition our National Communications Coordinator, the liaison between the Meredith College RHA and NCARH, was awarded for her Four years of Service to RHA. Also Madelynn Archer, an RA and conference delegate, was awarded for her hard work behind the scenes preparing the Meredith Delegation for NCARH.
We, in RHA, had such a great time meeting all the other school Residence Hall Associations and getting wonderful ideas to bring to Meredith College! If you know anyone who attended the NCARH conference - ask them about the trip and what they learned!
