What is FITCHECK?
Its a new year and as usual most of us will be setting at least one health and fitness goal but which one? In order to be successful with any goal, it is important to identify what it is you want to accomplish so that you can set a realistic goal. Let FITCHECK help you.
During FITCHECK you will be asked to complete the following measures and fitness assessments:
Height/weight/waist and hip measurement
Resting blood pressure and heart rate
1.5 mile walk/jog (we ask that all participants attempt to complete the entire distance) (aerobic endurance)
Modified push-ups (muscular endurance)
Sit-n-reach (flexibility)
FITCHECK Dates to choose from:
Wednesday, January 23rd 10:00 -10:50 a.m. (track) - CAMPUS
Wednesday, January 23rd 3:00 4:00 p.m. FAC-STAFF ONLY
Thursday, January 24th 2:00 3:00 p.m. (track) - CAMPUS
Friday, January 25th 10 10:50 a.m. (track) CAMPUS
NOTE: Faculty-Staff may attend ANY FITCHECK date or schedule their FITCHECK through WOW!
Avoid the pitfalls of over committing to a fitness plan that may or may not be what you really need.
First 100 participants to register and complete Meredith FITCHECK will receive a FREE medicine ball and programming notes.
