Flu Vaccine numbers and what to do if you missed the Flu Vaccine clinics on campus. |

The 2012 Flu Vaccine was administered at 4 clinics at Meredith this fall. 189 flu shots were administered to Faculty and staff, 124 flu shots to students, and 34 flu shots to family members for a total of 347 flu shots given. This is a smaller number of vaccines given than in the recent past.
If you were not able to make it to one of the four clinics Meredith offered, please know that Rite-Aid at Ridgewood Shopping Center offers the flu vaccine for the following insurance companies and too many to list:
United Healthcare
Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC
Cigna
Aetna
Medicare Part B
To see if Rite-Aid takes a different health insurance plan than those listed above, please contact them at 919-782-3749.
Always wash your hands often during flu season and stay home if you develop flu-like symptoms. |
