Durwood Laughinghouse joined the Board in 2014 and serves as a member of the Business and Finance Committee. He has a long history of involvement with Meredith. He was an active member of the College’s Board of Associates and a leading volunteer for the Campaign for Meredith. He and his wife Connie are the parents of Meredith alumnae Emily Brazik, ‘98, and Laura L. Garland, ‘02, and he is a former member of the Meredith College Parents’ Council.
Laughinghouse is Resident Vice President for Norfolk Southern Corporation. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University.
