Professional biography

Dr. Campbell arrived at Meredith College in 1992.  She was instrumental in the initial development of the Exercise and Sports Science major which began in 1998 and served as K-12 Coordinator of the Health and Physical Education concentration until 2009.   She currently is a Professor of Exercise Science for the department, focusing on courses related to teaching methods, history and foundations, career development, and management.  She also serves as the Head Basketball Coach for the Avenging Angels She is a former Department Chair and former Head Coach of the Meredith Tennis team
