Work Experience

Marie Sumerel has enjoyed over 25 years in the field of career development in colleges and universities. In addition to her work in academia, she has assisted professionals seeking career counseling and job search assistance during times of career transitions in corporate and nonprofit settings. 

Marie’s expertise has expanded to include leadership of cooperative education, academic advising and support, career services, and strengths based education.  She is actively involved in assessment initiatives, enrollment management, and academic planning.
