Professional biography

Lisa Becksford has been teaching English 111 and 200 at Meredith since 2009. A Meredith alumna, she received her MA in English from NC State University, where she was a graduate teaching assistant. While at Meredith, she has also taught at the Meredith College Young Writers’ Camp, a week-long summer program for middle school girls. She recently began a library science master’s program at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she will focus on academic libraries.
