Leslie Maxwell teaches first-year composition and critical reading and writing in the Meredith English department. She holds an M.F.A. in creative writing from George Mason University, and prior to teaching and graduate school, she worked as a writer in the corporate world. She holds a B.A. in English and a B.S. in biology, both from Meredith College.
